Getting Started
How long does it take to get started?
You can create an account and start using SikshyaLab in under 5 minutes. Full school setup with classes and students typically takes 1-2 hours with our guided onboarding.
Do I need technical expertise to use the platform?
Not at all! SikshyaLab is designed for educators, not IT experts. The interface is intuitive, and our support team is always ready to help.
Can I import my existing content?
Yes! You can upload documents, presentations, videos, and more. Our AI can also help convert your materials into interactive formats.
Is training provided for teachers?
Absolutely. We provide free onboarding sessions, video tutorials, and documentation. Enterprise plans include dedicated training sessions.
What devices and browsers are supported?
SikshyaLab works on all modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and devices (desktop, tablet, mobile). We also have native apps coming soon.
Pricing & Billing
How is pricing calculated?
Two parts. A flat monthly price for your whole institution, based on how many students you have — no per-user charges for the platform itself. Plus live class usage at रू 0.1 per participant per minute, billed only for the classes you actually run. Every plan includes all core features and a monthly AI pool shared across your institution.
Can I switch plans later?
Absolutely! Upgrade or downgrade anytime as your student count changes. Changes take effect from the next billing cycle, and all your data comes with you.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept eSewa, Khalti, Fonepay, bank transfer, and international cards. Pay annually and get 2 months free!
What about storage overage?
Beyond your included storage, additional space is रू 5/GB/month — same flat rate on every plan. Recordings are kept while you're subscribed; storage caps are upgrade triggers, not deletion triggers.
Do you offer discounts for schools?
Custom Enterprise pricing is available for institutions that outgrow the Institute plan (700+ students) or have special requirements (multi-branch, negotiated live class rates, custom AI pools). Contact us for a quote.
Live Classes & AI
How much do live classes cost?
रू 0.1 per participant per minute, on every paid plan. A 60-minute class with 20 students and their teacher is 21 × 60 = 1,260 participant-minutes, so रू 126. There is no cap on how many classes you run or how long they last — you pay for the minutes people are actually in the room. Live chat, screen sharing and recordings are included at no extra charge.
Can I try live classes before paying for them?
Yes. The Free plan includes 30 minutes of live class time — a one-time trial, not a monthly allowance — so you can run a real class with real students before deciding. Nothing is charged during the trial and no card is required.
How does the AI pool work?
Each plan includes a monthly pool of AI Tutor messages, generations (quizzes, mindmaps, flashcards, notes), and scan pages shared across your whole institution. Your admin dashboard shows exactly which students are using how much. If the pool runs out, buy a top-up pack or upgrade — no student is ever asked to pay individually.
What if my AI pool runs out mid-month?
Top-up packs are available anytime: +10,000 AI messages or +500 generations for रू 1,500 each. Pools reset at the start of every month.
