Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using SikshyaLab. By using our platform, you agree to these terms.

1.Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SikshyaLab ("the Platform"), operated by SikshyaLab Pvt. Ltd., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 require parental or institutional consent.
One person may not maintain multiple accounts.
Organizations creating accounts on behalf of members represent that they have authority to bind those members to these terms.

SikshyaLab offers Free, Solo, Lab 100, Lab 300, Lab 500, Lab 1000, Lab 1500, and Enterprise (custom) plans. A paid plan is a single monthly price for the whole institution, sized by the number of students enrolled — it is not charged per user or per student. Each plan states the limits that apply to it.
Live interactive classes are a separate purchase, bought as classrooms and sized by the number of students in one class at one time. A classroom carries unlimited classes and unlimited hours; you need one classroom for each class running at the same time. The Free plan includes a one-time 30-minute live class trial.
Plans include a monthly AI usage pool shared across the institution; additional top-up packs can be purchased if the pool runs out.
Payment methods include eSewa, Khalti, Fonepay, bank transfer, and international cards. Paying yearly is discounted; the exact saving varies by plan and is shown on the pricing page.
Pricing is in Nepali Rupees (NPR) and may change with 30 days written notice to active subscribers.
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Payments already made are non-refundable except where required by law, or where we have charged you in error. Classroom subscriptions already billed for the current period are not refundable.
We reserve the right to modify free tier features at any time.

Do not use the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws.
Do not upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content.
Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems.
Do not use AI features to generate harmful, misleading, or inappropriate educational content.
Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Platform.

You retain full ownership of content you create and upload to the Platform.
By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it as needed to operate the service.
AI-generated content (notes, questions, flashcards) created using your materials belongs to you.
We do not claim ownership of your educational materials, student data, or organizational information.

AI-generated content is provided for educational assistance and should be reviewed by teachers before use.
We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content. AI can produce answers that are incomplete or wrong, including answers that sound confident.
Students using AI features directly should treat answers as study assistance, not as a substitute for their textbook, their syllabus or their teacher.
AI output must not be relied on for grading decisions, examination results, or any other decision affecting a student's academic record without a person checking it.
AI features are subject to usage limits based on your subscription tier.
We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our AI models, but never individual student data.

Live classrooms are billed as a monthly or yearly subscription, priced by the maximum number of students in one class at one time. There is no cap on the number of classes you run or their duration; the limit is how many classes run concurrently.
Recordings, where enabled, are stored according to your plan's storage policy while your subscription is active.
Users are responsible for obtaining consent before recording sessions with participants.

You may cancel your account at any time from the account settings.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days to allow export, then permanently deleted.
SikshyaLab is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal.
We may update these terms from time to time with 30 days notice via email or in-app notification.
